About Us

We are the Ashbys', newly established as of April 12th, 2008. We started dating back in August of 2007, we actually lived in the same apartment complex. We quickly found we had so much in common and loved to do the same activities, like camping, fishing, fourwheeling, biking, hiking, etc. Our first time we ever hung out, we took a canoo down the provo river with some other friends and had such a blast. After that we started dating, with which consisted of hiking up to Stuart Falls, biking to Bridal Veil Falls, fishing in the Spanish Fork river, a spontaneous trip to Idaho, camping almost every weekend and mud bogging with each other on fourwheelers. We decided we had finally found our someones, and planned on getting married. We went to Klamath Falls, Oregon, (his hometown) for Thanksgiving with his family in November and they had arranged a family trip up to Crater Lake. Little did I know, there was plotting going on all along, and it was at Crater Lake he got down on one knee, slipped my ring on my finger and surprised me with an amazing proposal in which his family was involved and shared it with us. After a long endured engagement, we were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Manti LDS temple with all of our loving family there . We live together in a small basement apartment in Orem and it's perfect. Just big enough for the two of us and about half our stuff but we have so much fun together here. We're both in school, and working right now. He's in school working towards becoming a Radiology Technician. I just finished Paramedic school last year and am currently in school/training to becoming a FireFighter as well.
We have a long road ahead of us with endless possibilities and opportunities and I can't wait to just enjoy the ride with him :).

I may not drive a Fancy car, I don't know what it's for. I may not be the one who gets to shower you with Diamonds. I may not be a Rich Man, but you can't call me Poor, 'cause I know how to Love You Well." -Tim Mcgraw
