Christmas in Oregon

We spent this last Christmas in Oregon with Buck's family, finally.  We've been to my parents' for the last couple Christmas's so it was so fun to have Christmas there with his family.  We drove there and it's a 12 hour drive so we got there the day before Christmas Eve.  On Christmas Eve day we went out and cut down a Christmas tree. Yes, we got our tree on Christmas eve. I thought it was crazy too, but Buck really wanted to go cut one down because it was tradition to always cut them down.  So we got ourselves a really cool tree, which ended up being much bigger than it looked when we got it home and tried to take it inside.

Tying the tree to the van. Buck loves driving the van :)

A litte tall maybe??
Buck's family has very good german friends, and they were able to go see them in Germany for a couple weeks a while back.  While they were there they ate a hearty German breakfast and since they've come back they have a german breakfast of their own once a year. So we were lucky enough to get german breakfast while we were there, it was awesome :)
Buck got me a tangerine orange kitchen aid! I love these things and have wanted one forever
Buck's parents got me assorted wood block letters, for each of the holidays. I was so stoked because I'm gonna paint and then scrapbook them. I got words like "Welcome", "Family", "Love" for Valentines, "BOO" for halloween, "USA" for July, "ASHBY", "NOEL" and more. I'm so excited to decorate with them!
So remember the Redneck toilet post I did like 2 posts ago?? Ha ha his sister came to our rescue and got us a new toilet seat! Yay!
Buck got a 45 long colt revolver hand gun. I didn't get it in time for Christmas so I just bought him some bullets and a picture of the gun. He was so stoked. They said it would come in in about 30-60 days
We had prime rib on Christmas day. We ate like kings the whole time we were there :)
My awesome ORANGE kitchen aid

Oh, and we were both surprised when we got home. Gunnies called like 4 days after Christmas saying that Buck's gun had come in way before when they thought it would so we went and picked it up for him. I think he's in love :)
