We've bought a little house in Springville. It's an older home with potential but that's exactly what we wanted. There's plenty of room for us and the beginning of a family there, with a yard and everything. It does need a little TLC, like trim, paint, carpet, etc. and then anything else that we want to re-do and update. We're so excited to have projects and the option to make it ours and do what we want with it. I'm scared to death but I'm also a dooms-dayer big time. Anyways we'll keep you updated about the new home and what it looks like and what we're doing with it and what not, but like I said, this post is just for me, and I don't even recommend looking at it because it'll bore you. But when I print off my blog and save my books with my memories and pictures forever, I want to be able to look back at our first home we ever had together and all the memories that were made here. So watch out because there are tons of pictures to follow.

Just for my Blog Book
Ok so this post isn't anything exciting, it's simply just personal for me to have to remember. We're moving. I haven't posted anything about it because it just seems sureal to me and like it's not really happening, but we're about to become homeowners. We close tomorrow. It's totally bittersweet though, because I'm sad to leave the place where all of the "firsts" in our marriage were established and there's memories in every inch of this little basement apartment. But it's exciting to expand and grow and move on.

I know that some of these might look redundant or even are alittle redundant, or dark, or pictures of the exact same things over and over. But it's okay. Believe it or not there's a method to my madness and each of these pictures is documenting memories and experiences and happy times, sad times, stories, and much much more. I want to remember it all. I want to show this book to my kids and say, "See here, this is where daddy and I first lived when we got married, and this is where we put our first Christmas Tree..." things like that. Assuming that a five year old would really care where his/her parents first christmas tree was but I don't really care, because if anything, I'll look back on it and remember.

Congrats!!! I am so excited for you. It is WONDERFUL owning your own home. It has worked out great for us. Every home needs a little TLC and it takes time to make it your home. Just know that everything won't happen at once and it takes a lot of time to save, fix, save and fix. It's a never ending process but it's something I would never change. Yea to homeowners!
