2nd Anniversary in Las Vegas

Finally!
Pictures of Vegas are up.
We drove down early Friday morning, stopping off in New Harmony to see my amazing friend Allie, who had an awesome hot breakfast all made and ready for us when we got there. After catching up for an hour or so, we were back on our way. We checked into our Hotel (we stayed at the Sarhara) and went up to our room to change and freshen up. Then we set out to see the sites of the strip, as both of us had never been to Las Vegas before.
We walked the to the Mirage where we stopped off and ate at the Buffet there.
Total tourists checking out all the sites and placesThe Belagio Water Shows were way coolThis is where we stayed. We ended up walking the entire stip the first night. The next day we went to the Nascar Cafe for lunch. It was way fun. The whole place was under red neon lighting. And they give you a ton of foodAfter doing a little more sight-seeing, we went back to our hotel so I could get all dolled up for Phantom of the Opera with my new dress and accessories and everything. :) We ended of having to run to the Venitian where the show was playing because we were going to be late. I was holding my heals in my arms so I could run faster and among our chaotic dash down the strip, I lost one of the ankle straps to my heals. I was so bummed. We ate at the Buffet at the VenitianThe show was incredible. I LOVED it! I even cried at the end when Chrisine leaves the Phantom. I could watch it every night, it was so great. And Buck got us front row seats. :)These are my shoes I wore so I could run/walk faster and easier.
On our last day there, we went and listened to a 2 hour deal about time shares. We didn't have to sign up for anything and just for going and listening for 2 hours they gave us free tickets to the Bodies and Titanic exhibits, plus $75 dollars worth of dining. Not bad.We ate at the steakhouse in the Luxor hotel. It was really good, but really uppity and fancy, a place where we didn't fit in at, at all. But you can't beat free!Afterwards we went and saw Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Way fun!We had so much fun and loved seeing everything down there in Sin City. Our second anniversary totally rocked, and it's all thanks to my amazing hubby who surprised me with it all.
Totally love this guy :)
