Who'da thought...

...that we would've finished a half marathon?

Saturday we ran 13.1 miles, starting at 0530 in the morning.  We had to get up at 0300 just to catch the bus by 0400. That alone was a battle itself.

We finished in 3 hours and 10 minutes. Not great, but we finished.  I made it fine until about mile 9, and then my legs started to hurt so bad I could barely move. By mile 11 I wanted to fling myself in front of one of the cars driving by where we were running. But at least we didn't run the full, like more than half the fire dept did. The weather for it was actually really good though, except for the little bit of rain at the beginning that soaked our sock and shoes.
And the next day, we barely moved from our bed. In fact, we're still sore.
But I'm glad we did it :)
Until next year.

13.1 miles of pain, hell, and misery. Thanks Chief :)

That is so awesome. I want to run a half marathon, but I haven't been able to fit one into my schedule. You should run the skyline 10K with me. Good Job!

Way to go that is a big accomplishment. That's exciting that you guys bought a house. I'm excited to see it all finished and decorated.
