Pumpkin Festival

Heber Valley Railroad is probably the cutest little family thing ever.  For the month of October you can go ride "The Spooky Train" at the Pumpkin Festival. We went last Saturday after Buck finished hunting.  We arrived at the train station where they were playing games and doing face painting and stickers and tattoos.  Then we went on a round trip ride on the train for about 45 minutes and it was decorated all cute for Halloween.  You can purchase things right on the train like popcorn, candy, cookies and hot chocolate and they gave everyone on board a free pumpkin cookie homemade fresh.
Here we are waiting to board.  The conductor came our and yelled, "All aboard!!" and Kallan kept saying it throughout the ride.

 My handsome boys

It's not climate controlled so we dressed warm.  It was the most beautiful ride out in the country with all the colorful leaves

The Conductor was so cute and friendly.  He made it so fun and focused on kids.  He visited everyone throughout the ride and talked to the kids
Then afterwards we all got to pick out a pumpking from the patch to take home with us.  Sooo fun and for sure doing it again.  They do The Polar Express in December where you can ride to the train to the North Pole.  We will for sure be doing that!
