Jaceman

This little guy is so happy and fun! He was super sick this past week, with really high fevers over 104 that persisted for almost a week.  I ended up taking him to his doctor and and they checked him for strep, pneumonia, and upper respiratory infections. He got a chest xray, and had his blood drawn to see if he had an elevated white count indicating infection.  Everything came back perfectly normal, and they just said it was a virus, and we just had to ride it out.  Poor little guy was miserable, with vomiting, and lethargy from his high fevers.  He was on meds around the clock and recieved cool baths often to keep his fever at bay. One night I woke up every 3 hours just to medicate him because his fever was aggressive even through the tylenol and motrin and I didn't want him to have a febrile seizure.  Once his fever finally broke, he still two day after that to fully recover because it wiped him out so bad.  So the other night we were sitting outside before bedtime and he was playing and being his happy self again, and I was able to capture these priceless little smiles.

This baby warms our hearts and fills our lives with joy and happiness every day.  We're constantly laughing at what he does.  He has two little teeth on bottom now, he just learned how to wave, clap, and click his tongue.  He scoots himself around everywhere, refusing to get up on all fours and crawl.  He is a bottomless pit when it comes to food, and he loves everything we feed him.  He thinks he's as big as Kallan is, and tries to do just as many things.  We love him so much.

These giant eyes have my heart
