4th of July

So for the 4th of July this year, my mom took our boys for us for the weekend, and Buck had work off.  Buck doesn't like big crouds or people, so the Stadium of fire was out for us.  So, we decided to go on a date.  Yes, a real date, with no kids, or cerfew.  We started the day out getting one of our favorites: SUSHI.  Then we went and saw Malificent at the theater.  And after that, we were just gonna head home but Buck decided to try and surprise me and turned to head up Provo Canyon.  We turned off on Squaw Peak road, but every one else had the same idea and about half of Provo was up there, with traffic making it impossible to get to the top.  So we just pulled of the road and made our own trail and went and sat at the top of a little neighboring mountain, where we could still see the entire valley, and didn't have to deal with any people.  We watched fireworks from Payson to Pleasant Grove, including the Stadium of Fire show.  It was such a fun and memorable night for us.
