Ok so remember the birthday bow? Well here it is again, the first weekend Buck got to go hunting. It was so much fun, we made a family affair with it. We went camping up Fairview Canyon and all of my family went, my Aunt, Uncle and cousins, and my grandparents all went up too. We had a campfire and roasted marshmellows after a dutch oven dinner.
Here's the gang. Keaton, my dad, Kolton, (who's obsessed with the joker in The Dark Knight movie, but he quotes him and sounds just like him) and Buck. This is right before they went out hunting that evening. Unfortunately they didn't get anything but they're going out again this weekend. I pretty much am not going to have a husband for the next month so I have some girls' night out dates coming up.
I couldn't touch him because he had taken all this time and put in so much effort to make him scentless so the deer couldn't smell him. He washed his clothes in scent-killer, bathed with scent-killer soap, used scent-killer deoderant and sprayed himself over and over with scent-killer spray. Every time I touched him he yelped because I smelled like campfire smoke. :)
