Idaho Boat Races

Ok, sorry it's been months since I've posted last.  I'm going to be honest, I'm not very experienced with this.  I've seen everyone's blogs looking so cute and I try to copy and paste codes to change my background but apparently I'm doing something wrong because it's not working.  I'll keep playing with it but if anybody has any tips or advice it'll be greatly appreciated :).  So I guess to catch up on a few things, it's been a very busy summer!  A lot has happened over the summer, containing trips to Idaho and Oregon, finishing school an
d whatnot.  I'll post some more elaborating on the summer but the one I want to blog about right now is the Boat Regatta Races we went to at the end of June in Burley, Idaho.  We have really good family friends who race in these races and my dad is in the pit crew his team.  We came out ok, taking mostly 2nd place in all the races but the most fun I had was spending time with my family and younger sister, Alora.  The races were held on the Idaho Snake River and when they weren't racing we were able to jump in the river and swim to cool off.  I ended up getting super sick though.  I was super nauseated and ended up throwing up all the watermelon I ate.  My sweet husband ran me to Walmart to get Peptobismol and while he ran in I had to throw up again but when I went to get out of my car, a family had just pulled in the stall next to our car and kids were climbing out, so I ran around to the other side where a couple were just getting into their truck.  So I didn't have a choice.  I threw up all over in the parking lot behind our car with everyone walking by.  That night at our hotel my dad threw an IV in me (my husband had been throwing up before me so we had IV stuff for him) and I felt so much better afterwards.  Needless to say I didn't eat anymore watermelon though :D.
