Sundance in the Moonlight

My friend Allie from the ER decided to get a bunch of couples together to all go up to Sundance and ride the ski lift. So me and Buck, Allie and her hubby, Dave, newly weds Ashley and Jake, Amanda and her date, and 4 other couples I didn't know before last night, met up there to ride the lift. It was a full moon so you could see everything really well, and the mountain looked amazing; the light layer from this last weekend of bright white snow almost glowed. We got some hot chocolate to take on the ride with us and took some pictures afterwards

Here's the group. I would name us all for you but I'm not gonna lie, I just met half of them that night and I don't really remember their names. Oops. But I do have a funny story; So we asked this girl to take a picture of our group for us, so while I was over there showing her how to work my camera, everyone started to group together. I turned around and couldn't see Buck, so I start running around like a lost child saying, "Where's my guy? Where's my guy?" So I think I see him and start running with my arms open to who I think is him, yeah it wasn't. Not Buck. See the tall guy in the above picture furthest on the right, standing up with the brown coat and white beanie on? Yeah, I started running to him with my arms out and it wasn't till I was like right up to him when my brain turned back on and realized he wasn't my husband. How do you recover from that one? And the best part about all that is, Buck is not that tall and wasn't wearing a bright, white beanie. How I managed to think he was Buck is beyond me. I had been in the cold till it numbed my brain I think. Or lack thereof.
