Christmas came early!!

I wanted a sewing machine really bad for Christmas this year, and Buck found one for me! He found it for a really good deal, so that's why we got it so early, and I'm too impatient to wait for Christmas! So, here's my present from Buck this year, I totally love it!! Thanks babe.

And I've already gone to work. I made this scrub top for work. Don't look too closely, I'm a little rusty...

I am oober jealous! My machine broke about 3 years ago and we have not replaced it yet. But my extent to sewing is straight lines for quilts, someday I will expand my talents, do you give lessons :)

How fun for you. I will pay you to make me some scrubs. I have to tell you a funny story about Katy. The other day I had to get a baby sitter for the kids so I called the neighbor girl. I told Katy my friend was going to come and play with her until Rory got home. Katy said, "I want my friend to come and play." I said, "who is your friend?" Katy said, "Annalee!" I think she saw your picture when I was blogging a while ago and I told her that we were friends. I thought it was really cute. Let me know when you are down again and we will get together.

You are a great sewer. I don't know what I would do with out my sewing machine. I use it almost every day. When did you start to sew? Have you done it for a while or is it something you just picked up on.
