Happy Thanksgiving Everyone :)

So Thanksgiving this year is the one year mark from when Buck and I got engaged!! Ok, not the day exactly because we were engaged the day after, so on the 23rd of November. One year ago, my entire life began to take the biggest step I've taken in life so far, and can I just tell you it's been the best decision I've ever made! I love being married more than anything.

Since I wasn't blogging a year ago, I'll tell you all real quickly how he proposed. Sorry to everyone who's already heard it.

So we went to his hometown Klamath Falls, Oregon and it was my first time ever meeting his family. They knew we had talked about marriage because we told them we had been ring shopping and actually designed my ring and were waiting for it to be finished. So I met them all, absolutely loving them and my visit there, had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner, and then on friday his mom had planned a family trip for us to go to Crater Lake because I'd never been. So we all loaded up and drove an hour to see one of the wonders of the world.

We got there and there was snow everywhere, it was gorgeous. I wanted some pictures of the lake but we were in a bad spot so I asked Buck if we could walk around to get a better shot. Leaving his family behind we wandered off behind some trees where I was able to get my breath taking photos. Well I wanted one of me and him of course so we ventured back to have his mom take some pictures of us. When we walked around the trees we saw all of his family looking at us, and they all had their cameras out for some reason.... :)

So I'm posing and waving to all the cameras until Buck says, "Annalee, look." And points over to his cute little nieces and nephews holding a big vinel sign that reads, Annalee, would you please marry Uncle Buck? So I melt, turn back to Buck as he dropped down to one knee and whatdoyaknow? Here we are a year later happily married.I was so surprised because I didn't think my ring was even done yet, but he was sneaky, and his whole family was in on it of course. It was awesome. And then once we got home, his mom had yet another surprise for the both of us! She threw us an Engagement Party, fully equiped with guests, games, gifts, ice cream sundaes and even entertainment! Buck's uncle played the guitar and his cousins sang. It was so awesome. That woman is incredible. I absolutely LOVE my mother in-law. There isn't anything she can't do. :)

I hope everyone has a happy, safe and thankful Thanksgiving.
