Dayshift!
So lots of you know that for the whole year of 2008 Buck has worked swing shift at his job. He goes to work at 3 pm till 11 pm Monday through Friday, which has made it so that anytime we want to do anything, it has to be on a Saturday, which can be hard sometimes being where I work at 2 jobs that work on weekends. This was not cool. There was always stuff going on during the week at night, especially on Friday nights, such as parties (when we moved in our ward had a summer-get-to-know each other party), get-togethers, wedding receptions, etc. and we couldn't go to any of these things because he had to go to work. Well this coming monday, on the 22nd he gets to go to dayshift!!! He'll go to work at 7am and be home by 3 pm. This means we'll kinda have normal scheduled lives! Ha ha, I'm so excited, I had to share with everyone. He couldn't even come to my work Christmas party this year, but he'll be there next year. And it's good because he hated swings, he's more of a morning person so this will be better all the way around. I'm Stoked!!

YAY!! That is so exciting, John (my husband) also works swings and it is 12 hour shift 4 days a week so he works from 2 to 2, and it really stinks so I know how you feel, enjoy your time together!!!

I know exactly how you feel.The first 8mon. of our marriage Matt and I worked different shifts. We never saw each other.

Yay for you guys!! You will absolutely LOVE being able to spend most evenings with him (not that you didn't know that!) But I hope you have a good time and do something VERY fun and exciting on his first Friday night home! :)
Hey! How was last night? I feel really bad that we didn't go because I really wanted to see you. Are you guys coming down for christmas? We will just have to go to dinner sometime. Give me a call the next time you come down. Hopefully I will talk to you soon, if not MERRY CHRISTMAS!
