Last night right before we went to bed Buck started complaining of a headache so I got him something for it and we crashed. Or at least I did. Poor Buck was up all night last night, tossing and turning and making bathroom trips. Around 4 am I woke up when he was climbing back into bed and felt him, and he was roasting. So I took his temperature and it was around 102. I got him some tylenol and we tried to go back to bed. Everything hit him all at once. He was coughing, achy, had a horbile headache, and said that his neck hurt and that it felt like he'd been hit by a truck. So this morning, after feeling helpless, I called the ER and talked to one of the nurses I work with and she suggested that he be seen because it sounded like it could be Menengitis (which would not have been good) . So we took him in. I've never been on the patient's end of things there, because that's where I work, obviously. Anyways, to make this long story shorter, my poor guy has influenza A or the flu. There are two type of the flu, and the type that he has is the one that people get the flu shot for so they don't catch this. We didn't get him vaccinated because he hates needles but that's too bad for next year because he's getting vaccinated. My grandma is actually in the ICU right now with this flu because it hit her so hard and she couldn't get better. Lucky for me, I shouldn't get it because I'm vaccinated (it's required to get vaccinated if you're a Healthcare worker)
Anyways, not that Buck being sick is exciting but that's about all we've been up to lately other than school and work, so nothing exciting to blog.

These pictures aren't from today, these are when he had food poisening. But he looks about the same. Only more miserable :(

Yuck! There is nothing worse then a sick husband. My kids have been sick too. I never thought about it, but maybe they have influenza. I got vaccinated and so did Rory. Maybe nextyear I will get the kids their shots!
Thats horrible. Oh and by the way you never told me he was going to be taking the EMT class. I did figure it out pretty quick though, is he enjoying it?
Sad! :( Poor guy! Hope he gets feeling better!
