So some of you know that I went to North Sanpete High School in Mt. Pleasant. (Down by Manti and Ephraim for those of you who don't know where it's at) Anyways the biggest dance of the school year down there is Jr. Prom. Yes junior prom, not senior. We don't even have a Senior prom, or MORP or anything like that. Some of you know how it works but for those who don't, here's the quick run through: Prom down there is two nights; friday and saturday. Friday night is boys' choice and Saturday is girls' so you could go with a different date each night. Each jr. walks out in twos, the boys escort the girls out, and then they stand in the middle of the gym and their names are announced and then they go sit down on the side until the whole class has been announced. Once everyone is announced then the class gets up and dances. After that the parents go down and dance with their child, and then it's the dance for the kids. So me and Buck spent the weekend in Sanpete because it was my baby sister's Jr. Prom.
It was actually pretty fun. About 2 weeks ago my mom and Alora came up to Orem to go Prom dress shopping and they invited me go. Then I did Alora's hair both nights and helped her get ready so it was a fun way to celebrate the last Jr. Prom in the Cheney household.
There weren't enough Jr. boys so they used some of the seniors so my brothers we in it again this year

It was good seeing you on Saturday... I'm sure I'll see you in a couple of weeks at the wedding! Thanks for putting it together, it was fun and is always nice to see everyone!:)
Is Alora really a Jr. I remember when I was a TA for my mom our Senior year and she was in her 6th grade class. She has grown up so much. She does look gorgeous. I love the way you did her hair.
Wow! She looks gorgeous!! You did a great job on her hair... Can't believe that she's that old- I think I still remember when she was born.. crazy!
She looks so pretty. I would have to say that it is pretty odd to most people but it works for us Sanpeters.
