Painting our kitchen

Our landlords have told us forever that we could paint our apartment if we wanted to, but with not knowing how long we were gonna be here we didn't really worry about it.

Well then we accidentally put a hole in the wall and had to fix it so we decided to just go all the way and paint the kitchen. We decided that a green contrast would be fun. So Buck taped everything off, (because I sucked at taping) and it took us only 2 full days to paint.These are some before pictures, the walls were like tan and burgandy colorsWith a white rectangle above the cupboards. The bottom part was the burgandyHe's smiling like that because as soon as I took the picture he tried to attack me with the rollerThese are all of the "during" pictures...I even got a cute little love message :)And we came away with only one fatality. We needed to get a Blendtec Blender anyway (but it was Buck who broke it, not me this time)...and a little puppy who thought he could jump over the paint tray. Can anyone see the little trail of evidence he left???And a totally GUILTY little puppy face?And here are the after pictures! At least some of them. Our kitchen is still torn apart as we wait for it to dry so we can put it all back together.And yes, we totally set the time to our picture :) we always do. I'm not gonna miss out on memories just because there's no one to take our picture. That's why the time is even on the camera right? Ha ha haI actually really like the colors and we had fun doing it together. And neither of us killed the other one :)

It was way fun, and it's got me all excited to have a place of our own one day that we can paint and do whatever we want to it.
