Thanksgiving and my First Baby Shower

We went home to Oregon for Thanksgiving this year, and it was so much fun. I always love going home, and it was so much fun because pretty much everyone was there this year. My cute nephew and nieces.

Keg out of his cast and doing his most favorite thing: being with Buck

My amazing mother-in-law surprised me with a baby shower! My first one. I had no idea. Buck's cousing Pandora is also pregnant so we were both surprised.  We were all just sitting there Friday night after dinner getting ready for game night, and she surprised us with a shower! She's amazing :)
Sitting in our chairs getting ready for everything to start. This is Pandora's second baby :)

We had a baby trivia quiz. I did really bad

They melted candy bars in diapers to look like poop and we had to guess what candy bar it was. I didn't do well in this game either.

I got so much great stuff from everyone! It was so fun.  We played one more game, where everyone guess how many toilet paper squares around our tummies are. My tummy is 9 toilet paper squares around :)

Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Max and my amazing Mother-in-law down in the right hand corner

My mother-in-law made this white baby blanket for his blessing day. I love it :)

Buck wanted Keg in the picture with us so I tried coving him up with the blanket. :)

And here he is. Buck insisted.
Sunday morning we had German Breakfast.  It's become an Ashby tradition ever since my in-laws visited Germany.  They have these amazing German friends who send German chocolate to us every year.  This is really how they have breakfast everyday, and it's incredible. They have so much food and these dishes that all match and cups with our names on them, everyone had their own.  It's so much fun, I look forward to it everytime we go home.
Our cups! Mine came this year with the German chocolate so I'm officially part of the family now! Ha ha

Looks like you had a fun Thanksgiving. That is so fun that your family surprised you with a shower. Sounds like you have great in-laws. I hope the rest of you pregnancy goes well.
