Mooney

So, remember Buck's horse he got for Christmas last year, Kepayla? Well, he found out she wasn't going to get very big so he ended up selling her about a year ago. Now he has a new horse, and he's decided to name her Moonshine, and we call her Mooney.  She's already pretty much broke, but Buck's been working with her on the weekends and decided to take Kallan out and let him ride her for the first time.  Kallan did awesome. He was so excited to ride her, and was able to sit on her all by himself.  We only had one little mishap.  Buck was walking them in circles around me so I could take pictures and Mooney decided to shake her whole body just as Buck looked down to check their footing and Kallan fell off of her landing flat on his back. Luckily he landed in a pretty good layer of snow and I made sure he had a helmet on, so besides being scared he was just fine. Scared Mama pretty good though, being 15 ft away and not being able to do anything as her baby fell to the ground. I just yelled and started running to him because I knew he was going to freak out.  Buck didn't realize he had fallen until he saw him on the ground and hurried to keep Mooney from stepping on him. Kallan of course was bawling, but we calmed him down and made him get back on her to ride until he was happy and comfortable on her again.
All of the above pics are before he fell off...see how much fun he was having? Then all the ones below are after we made him get back on.  It took like 10-15 minutes to get him to where he liked it again
