I'm a wife! ish

Ha this post is similar to Heather's but I wanted to let everyone know what I've been doing lately. I never learned how to cook growing up, or anything even close to it. We had velveta shells and cheese from the box growing up, made by me and it took a few trys to even get that right. So as you all know I took up sewing, I have like 15 scrub tops I've made and almost 4 skirts now. I really want to make a sun dress so stay tuned for that. But in the meantime, I've been trying to cook more. Me and and my good friends got together and made strawberry freezer jam, which I think tastes awesome (next thing is to learn cooked jam) and tonight, I made banana bread. I've never made bread in my life. Wow I have a long ways to go, especially before I become a mother. But it's been fun to try new things and learn how to be a better wife. We also decided to plant a flower garden. Buck has quite the green thumb! I get to help, he let's me pour the watering can. Ha ha. I can't wait until we have our own place and can have lots of flowers and even a veggie garden.

I am impressed! I took me a good 3 years to figure out the whole cooking thing, I have still yet to tackle sewing. Nothing like a famdamily to turn you into a Suzy!

You'll be the best mom. Good job with the cooking. I love freezer jam. You should try pear raspberry. It is very declicious. I also have some really easy (even though I haven't tried it) processed jams recipes. Let me know if you want them!
