Yesterday was my mom's birthday, but I had to work all day, so we decided since we both had Sunday off we would make a quick trip to Sanpete for the day. So we left after I got off work last night and drove down. We woke up this morning and I made some spring cupcakes for my mom, even though it's gross and yucky stormy outside. :( But we had a good relaxing Sunday.
Here's my little sister testing out my tasty treats. Think she likes them?
Also, I wanted to make a quick announcement: This is especially for all my friends and blog followers down in North Sanpete. My mom is the Drill Advisor for the drill team at the high school, and both of my sisters are involved. Alora is a dancer on the team and my sister Ashley helps as an advisor as well. They decided to make a blog for their team. It's so they can update their progress, keep everyone informed when they're dancing when school's in and when their competitions are, how they do in them, and what not. They're also going to use it to advertise all of their fundraisers and upcoming events for the summer, and it will have lots of pictures so you can see how hard they work and how much fun they have. The blog site is spiriteers.blogspot.com. If you're interested they have some really good and cute ideas for fund raisers for the 4th and 24th this summer, and they have camps and stuff, a lot of the pictures will be for their moms and stuff but if you can help us advertise by checking out their blog that would be great :) Thanks!
