We've been trying to get some serious pool time in for the last month of summer before they closed since I was laid up from having Jace and couldn't swim for 6 weeks. Buck's work is so good to us. They have so many things available to their employees for them and their families to enjoy. They give us passes to get in free to almost any pool we want in Utah County and we choose to go to the Scera. It's the warmest we've been to, and our favorite. We've been at least twice a week since Jace turned 6 weeks old. Jace does really well at the pool for being so little. I don't put him in the water yet but he sleeps on my shoulder while I follow Kallan around.
Kallan was letting me take as many pictures as I wanted of him so I took advantage of it!
So Kallan's only been off his binki since march of this year. Terrible we waited so long, I know. But he came off it well so it wasn't too bad. However, we have little binkies for Jace, and Kallan is always trying to sneak them! And I mean sneak. He swipes those things right out from under me when I put them down from Jace and he runs and hides and just sits and sucks on it. Or as many as he can steal. I've found him all over just quietly hiding, sucking on a binki. Well now he thinks he needs to act like a baby. So as we were getting ready to leave the pool, I sat down to nurse Jace real quick, and Kallan swiped the binki and hid behind the trash can, peeking at me to see if I was coming after him. He's hilarious
Another thing he'll do is sit in the carseat, with the binki, and fake cry like a newborn. I was laughing at him and wanted to document his craziness so I let him have the binki so I could get some pictures. He gets SO mad when I take it away from him
