These days are my favorite days. No plans, no schedules, no places to be. I love when me and Buck are home together in the evenings. We threw some clothes on the boys (that didn't match) and just headed to the park. I grabbed my camera as we walked out the door, and was able to capture these happy little faces and make some memories.
These always make for the best pictures too! Whenever you make plans to go take pictures, and you get everyone all ready, it always seems like kids don't want to cooperate. Because they don't! It's not fun for them. And then it ends up not being fun for me, because I want them to smile perfectly for the camera for every picture, and they don't want to. So then I just get frustrated, Buck gets frustrated, and then our professional family picture looks like we're all pissed, and bored, and covering it up with fake, forced smiles. I love taking pictures, not like professional photography, but to capture these real, happy moments. I love to just let my guys go and play, and do their thing, and I just follow them around and get real smiles. Not the smiles where we tell them to say cheese. Don't get me wrong, I love getting professional pictures done, but I just love these real little faces. When I look at these pictures, I see pure elation. Happiness and freedom from being cooped up in the house, and now being set free to run and play. These are my favorite days.
